How much does it cost to
replace the Fabric?
There is not a straight forward answer for this question. The Fabric type & brand you choose will ultimately establish the estimated cost. But, there are many different models and sizes of Pool Tables and as such each requiring a certain amount of labor. Please contact us with the pertinent information for an affordable quote.
Is it expensive to
move a Pool Table?
Just like the Fabric, any Moving Quote is priced upon specifics. Things like the locations of the properties but also locations within the home or office. And the size, make and model of the table. "Is that stone?"
It sure is! Its Slate to be exact. And it sure is heavy. Please don't try and move them on your own nor lift the table. But they are a requirement if you want the truest and sturdiest playing surface. There are many varieties and sizes used. And its the only way to achieve such a perfect surface for a game of precision. Our trained Mechanics expertly move them with specialty carts & will ensure their safety so that your table will provide you with enjoyable perfect games.
How often should I recover the Pool Table?
On average a cloth can last about 8-10yrs with average play before it becomes worn and brittle. An active player may wear through the cloth much quicker though. Environmental factors can also make a difference. Heat, excessively Humid or Dry areas and even Sunlight can accelerate the wear on a cloth. With proper care and ideal environments, We've seen cloth that has lasted 30yrs.

Do you sell Used Pool Tables?

Is it Fabric or Felt?
Probably one of the biggest misnomers in this sport is the use of the word Felt. Its an easy one to mistake and probably used more in replace of what the cloth actually is. Which, is a Fabric. While similar with the use of Wool, a Felt is a cloth that rolls and presses textiles together with wool. Where as a Fabric is woven fibers of textiles. Its much stronger and more durable. A Billiard Fabric can either be a specialty blend of nylon and wool or 100% Fine Wool used on professional tables. Iwan Simonis Cloth being the preferred choice.

How do I care for
my new Pool Table?
Great question and one we get asked after every install. Its truly a simple answer. Brush it and Wipe it! The cloth just requires routine brushing in one direction down the length. It will train the fabric and keep it clean for play. There are many furniture products to keep the luster on your new table, but none are more effective than a damp rag. While dusting and cleaning products are great, they're not the best for use on your pool table. Why? Fingerprints and hand marks! A pool table is a game that you put your hands on and body over. In turn, leaving behind many unsightly marks if there is a wax or polish on the rail caps. So a quick wipe after use is all you need to clean. You can however use many popular products on the cabinet and legs to keep its finish looking sharp. Most pockets are made of leather and should be cleaned regularly with leather conditioners. Allow it to soak in and keep the leather soft. Avoid table use with heavy jewelry and accessories. And a Black or Brown sharpie will be your best friend in case of any mishaps.
